Teaching
I give classical lessons in person at the Islington Arts Factory and online to students of all ages and levels. Wether you want to learn to play guitar for fun, are preparing for a grade exam or a performance, I will adapt my teaching to help you achieve your goals.

I place a strong emphasis on developing an efficient technique and good practice methods during my lessons as I believe that these two skills are crucial to a students' ability to improve, become independent in their learning and build confidence with public performance.

If you're a complete beginner, I'll teach you how to read music, take you through the basics of the classical guitar technique and guide you toward playing your first piece! You'll be surprised about how quickly you can achieve results and start playing repertoire.

If you're already played guitar before I'll assess your current abilities, recommend exercises and repertoire to bring your technique to the next level and help you develop your musicality.

I also believe that playing with other and in front of others is important both for motivation but also to understand the level of work and preparation required to play a piece in front of an audience (regardless of how large it is). That's why I offer my students regular ensemble and solo performance opportunities.
